Unbecoming: Break Free from Diet Culture…For Good!

At Clementine, we’re thrilled to officially launch Unbecoming, a program designed to help you let go of dieting, food guilt, and restrictive routines, while embracing freedom, self-compassion, and empowerment.

After an incredible first cohort, we’re ready to invite more people to join this life-changing journey. The results from the initial participants speak for themselves, and we couldn’t be more excited to share their experiences with you.

What is Unbecoming?

Unbecoming is not just another wellness program. It’s a call to unlearn the toxic narratives we’ve been taught about food, exercise, and our bodies. It’s about rewriting the script and learning to show up for ourselves in ways that feel authentic and freeing.

Through weekly expert-led sessions, practical tools, and a supportive community, participants work to:

  • Let go of diet culture and food guilt.

  • Reframe their mindset around movement and self-care.

  • Build self-compassion and trust in their own bodies.

The Results Are In: Cohort One Success

Our first cohort ran from September to November 2024, and the feedback has been nothing short of extraordinary. Here are some of the highlights:

  • 72.73% of participants rated the program as “exceptional value”—it exceeded their expectations.

  • 100% of participants said they would recommend Unbecoming to other women.

  • Participants shared deeply transformative experiences, from letting go of toxic beliefs about weight loss to discovering new ways to care for themselves.

Here’s what some of the participants had to say:

  • “I’ve stopped waking up with the script in my head about needing to lose weight. I now feel free from that constant pressure.”

  • “This program is amazing—be prepared to unlearn everything unhealthy you’ve absorbed from diet culture.”

  • “I’m finally able to tune into my body’s needs and let go of the guilt around food and movement.”

  • “I’ve realized that my worth isn’t tied to the number on a scale, and it’s such a freeing feeling.”

  • “For the first time, I feel like I’m allowed to just enjoy food without a running tally in my head.”

  • “I’ve let go of the guilt and shame I’ve carried for years. It’s like a weight has been lifted.”

Practical Changes That Stick

The program’s focus on actionable insights and practices has made a lasting impact. Participants shared how they’ve incorporated Unbecoming into their daily lives:

  • “I’ve learned to listen to my body, nourish it properly, and move in ways that feel good rather than punitive.”

  • “The mindset shifts I’ve made about food have rippled into how I think about other areas of my life—it’s been a game-changer.”

  • “I now exercise because I want to, not because I feel I have to. It’s a completely different experience.”

  • “I’ve started using the affirmations and breathing exercises daily, and they’ve been so grounding.”

  • “Unbecoming taught me to be kinder to myself, and that kindness has changed everything.”

  • “I’ve embraced movement as a celebration of what my body can do, not as a punishment for what I ate.”

Why You Should Join

Unbecoming isn’t about quick fixes. It’s about lasting transformation. Here’s what participants would tell others:

  • “This investment in yourself, with the support of incredible experts, will be the gift that keeps on giving.”

  • “Even if you don’t think you have an issue with food, this program helps you tackle self-confidence and the beliefs holding you back.”

  • “Be prepared to let go of years of unhelpful conditioning and embrace a healthier, freer mindset.”

  • “Unbecoming isn’t just about food or exercise—it’s about finding yourself again.”

  • “The community is so supportive; you’ll never feel alone in this journey.”
